"Founder's Day" is Coming!

Girard College "Founder's Day" Events
May 20, 2006 Marks the Day

Students, staff and alumni of Girard College will celebrate the annual "Founder's Day" program on Saturday, may 20, 2006. The day marks the birth date of philanthropist Stephen Girard, the school's founder and benefactor to many.

The day's events begin early, and come to a close at around 3:30 in the afternoon. This year's event includes an off-site chapel service; a breakfast, and a luncheon in the armory. In the evening there will be an alumni 'reunion' dinner at Founders Hall on campus. Tours of the "Girard Collection" will be given in the afternoon as well.

Be sure to stop by the PTA Tent, the Camp Girard Tent and visit the Development tent, where you can leave a personal legacy of your own.
